  • Born into a family of hairstylists, Sue followed her passion and became a cosmetology student before embarking on a career as a Ford model. Her work abroad and as the face of national campaigns only furthered her creativity and cutting edge style. 


    Approaching hairdressing artistically and technically, Sue incorporates the deeper value of personal interaction with each client. As an interpreter of fashion, Sue understands the need to individualize cuts and styles to suit the people wearing them. 


    She has learned from the best in the business including hands on training with Nick Arrojo, George Alderette, and Min Kim just to name a few. Providing the highest quality, service, and professionalism to each and every client is her signature. It is her desire to constantly evolve in her craft and surround herself with trendsetters and educators. Sue's goal is to further establish her reputation as premiere stylist. Her enthusiasm and fresh approach are sure to win you over.

  • Vannora Hawkins specializes in color, balayage, and precision cuts. She is diverse in all hair types, textures, and styles. From trendy to conservative, fine to coarse, textured to straight hair, she has broadened her skills for styling and coloring all hair types. The key to her work is consultation and understanding your lifestyle, preferences, and expectations. Meticulous attention to detail is what makes her unique. After sporting a chic bob during chemo and receiving many requests, the timeless “bob” has become her signature cut. She also specializes in wedding updos and has been featured in Southern Bride and Living Local DC for her bridal looks.

    She has been serving the Alexandria, VA area for 20 years. After working in a salon in Old Town and building her clientele, she opened her private suite in 2014 to cater to her clients, giving them an intimate and luxury experience. She has been featured within her franchise suites as one of the Faces of Sola for 2021, and also as a stylist for Alice and Olivia NYFW Spring Collection 2024, which was hosted in NYC in the fall of 2023.

    Her skills over the years have drawn many clients and opportunities, but what separates her from other stylists is how personable she is.
